Student Wies joins the V-Academy

Fontys ACI student Wies van Diepenbeek (19) has been selected to join the V-Academy of Veronica TV channel. She is involved in production of the RadioBitches Awards 2011.

Veronica is a commercial TV channel in The Netherlands. Every year only ten out of hundreds of applicants are accepted at the V-Academy. Media tycoon John de Mol is a member of the V-Academy advisory board. During her traineeship, until January 2012, Wies van Diepenbeek will work on cross media TV concepts and the RadioBitches Awards. This ceremony to honor the best female radio personalities in The Netherlands is scheduled for December 7th, 2011.
Wies van Diepenbeek says: "I see this as a great adventure. I want to have fun, do a lot of production work, fall down, get up again and continue to pursue my ambition. I want to make the RadioBitches Awards a huge succes and I want to have the time of my life."
